Our Mission
The Mbarara University Data Science Research Hub (MUDSReH) is dedicated to advancing healthcare and medical research through data science. We collect, curate, and provide access to high-quality medical datasets from Uganda and East Africa.
Our mission is to facilitate research collaboration, promote open science, and accelerate medical discoveries by making valuable healthcare data accessible to researchers worldwide while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and ethical use.
Through our platform, we aim to bridge the gap between data science and healthcare, enabling innovative research that addresses critical health challenges in Uganda and beyond.
